Quilletta opened in Bangsar following years of bench work in independent workshops across Kuala Lumpur. The workshop takes its name from the quill — the fine-pointed tool once used to transfer oil to the smallest components of a movement. It is a name that suits the precision and patience the work requires.
We focus on three areas: quartz module replacement, strap and bracelet services, and complete overhauls. Each of these is handled personally, with the client kept informed throughout. We do not proceed without a written estimate and client approval — a standard we hold without exception.
Our workshop is on Lorong Maarof in Bangsar, one of Kuala Lumpur's older commercial streets. Walk-ins are welcome during opening hours, and we are happy to discuss your watch before you commit to any service.

The People Behind the Work
Hafiz Firdaus
Lead Watchmaker
Over fifteen years on the bench, with experience across quartz and mechanical movements. Hafiz handles every repair that comes through the workshop.
Nurul Rashidah
Client Liaison
Nurul coordinates intake, written estimates, and collection. She ensures clients are kept informed at each stage without needing to chase for updates.
Aizat Karim
Parts & Sourcing
Aizat manages parts procurement, including end-links and caliber-matched movements for older references that are no longer in current production.
Quality & Workshop Protocols
Written Estimates
No repair proceeds without a written cost estimate that the client has approved. This applies to every service, regardless of complexity.
Water Resistance Testing
Gaskets are inspected and replaced where needed. Water resistance checks are performed on appropriate case types following service.
Movement Photography
For complete overhauls, we photograph the movement before and after service. These images are provided to the client as part of the condition report.
Secure Storage
Watches in our care are stored in a secure, climate-appropriate environment. Access is restricted to workshop personnel only.
Six-Month Service Warranty
All overhaul work carries a six-month warranty covering the labour performed. If an issue arises from our work, we address it at no additional charge.
Repair-First Approach
We recommend replacement only when repair is no longer practical. Where a part can be restored, we will say so and discuss it with you first.

Quilletta operates from Lorong Maarof in Bangsar, a short walk from the main Bangsar Village retail area. Our focus is straightforward: quartz servicing, strap and bracelet work, and full mechanical overhauls for watches that need more comprehensive attention. We accept pieces from clients across Kuala Lumpur and the Klang Valley.
Every watch entering the workshop is logged and assessed before work begins. Our watchmaker examines the movement, case, and bracelet or strap individually, then prepares a written assessment for the client. This document outlines the condition found, the work recommended, and the associated cost. Nothing is agreed without client confirmation.
Our workshop is suited to clients who value considered service over speed. We are not a same-day counter operation. What we offer is personal attention, honest communication, and work that is carried out with reference to the manufacturer's original specification wherever materials allow.
